What can you conclude from Lewis Carrol's logic puzzle:
(a) All babies are illogical.
(b) Nobody is despised who can manage a crocodile.
(c) Illogical persons are despised.
I'm posting one puzzle, riddle, math, or statistical problem a day. Try to answer each one and post your answers in the comments section. I'll post the answer the next day. Even if you have the same answer as someone else, feel free to put up your answer, too!

Babies can't manage crocodiles.
ReplyDeleteIf illogical people are despised (c), and babies are illogical (a), then babies are despised. If you are despised, then you cannot manage a crocodile because if you could both manage a croc and be despised, you'd be contradicting (b). Ergo babies can't manage crocs.
