Two Fer the Price of One
1) What phrase is being suggested below?

2) The words white and black are antonyms.
What two words, one rhyming with white and the other with black, are also antonyms?
it's something about strength, but i can't figure it out exactly. i'm just happy enough that i realized it spells s-t-r-e-n-g-t-h going down the first column and up the second. :P

ReplyDeleteThe first is 'tower of strength,' although I'm not sure that's completely obvious from the clue itself. I guess you could say it's a tower.
The second is just as cri points out: tight and slack. How cri figured it out??? I know I had to look up the answer.
