You're trapped in a room with no windows or doors. All there is is a table and a mirror. How do you escape the room?
This one is a bit of a trick question, just so you know.
It was asked by Ad Williams.
I'm posting one puzzle, riddle, math, or statistical problem a day. Try to answer each one and post your answers in the comments section. I'll post the answer the next day. Even if you have the same answer as someone else, feel free to put up your answer, too!

isn't the answer to look in the mirror to see what you saw, use the saw to cut the table in half, realize two halfs make a whole and you can get out of the room through the whole...is that about right?
ReplyDelete*hole for the second whole...sorry i'm typing-dumb.
ReplyDeleteye kya chutiyapatti h !!!
ReplyDeleteMarkchop lol that was brilliant I mma type that again so I remember.
ReplyDeleteLook in the mirror to see what you saw
Use the saw to cut the table in half
Realize two halves make a whole
You can get out of the room through the whole
Or, not a riddle of an answer, it could be this:
ReplyDeleteIf there are no windows and no doors, there needs to be another way for air to get into the room. Go through the vent :)
you are in an interrogation room and the window is a mirror -- use the table to break the mirror. What is this riddle answer stuff ;)
ReplyDeleteIf it was an interrogation room there would have to be a door.
DeleteSummon my magical unicorn using my Spell of Animal Enchantment and ride her out through a hole in the space-time continuum.
ReplyDeletemaybe it's a room like on a tv show or newsroom set: there's no ceiling. push the table to the wall and climb up and over. the mirror is actually a communicator device disguised as a make-up compact. this is used to contact the ninja turtles to come and pick you up. you are April O'Neal.
ReplyDeleteOoh, this is like one of those escape-the-room games...so first, you probably need to look underneath the table. It probably has a piece of paper stuck under it with a cryptic message. Then see if you can move the mirror; there's probably some kind of panel that you have to put the code into, which opens a previously unseen panel in the wall and reveals a screwdriver. You can use the screwdriver to unscrew the vent that you didn't notice before, and after a short labyrinth of air ducts, you're free!
ReplyDeleteOr...what markchop said.
dumb no how old r u 5
DeleteLmao @ Primavera123's answer. I am going to have to go with Markchop's answer though.
ReplyDeleteask for help cuz you didnt get there without an ebtrance!! i dunno
ReplyDeleteI like Kira's answer.
ReplyDeleteI do want to know how one gets into a room like that to begin with.
i like what markchop said
ReplyDeletehere's a link a same page i'd made similar to this
instead it has scramble letters on it and you need to rearrange.

i agree with alexis
ReplyDeleteMhmm, If There Is No Windows Or Doors?
ReplyDeleteHow'd I Get In, In The First Place?
So Then, it's easy i get out the way i get in :) You know the answer to that..
I KNOW. theres are no doors so out through the doorway!
ReplyDeleteI must have gotten IN somehow so theres a way to get out!
ReplyDeleteOh wow. I cheated and looked at the comments. There's no way I would have gotten this! My idea was to look in the mirror and see yourself outside of the room. Lol.
ReplyDeleteI love Nikki's answer!! No doors or windows.. so technically you get a doorway.. just without a door on it's hinges!
ReplyDeletehuh? how tricky..
ReplyDeleteI don't even know the answer, but i try to guess..
table? mirror?
just use the table to break the mirror!!!
hahaha~ then you are free from the nightmare..
hohoho!
you cant even get into the room. im guessing you use the glass in the mirror and cut your way through.
ReplyDeletewalk out of the room
ReplyDeleteif there are no windows or doors there must be no walls
ReplyDeletesame logic as: How do you put a giraffe in a refrigerator?
Open the door and put it in.
You're not trapped at all. Just because there are no windows or doors doesn't mean that there is no entry or exit. it just means that there are no windows or doors.
ReplyDeleteJust lie, cheat and steal your way out of that room, thats how everybody else got out!!!
ReplyDeleteI've been in that room:O)
ReplyDeleteIf we could only bail ourselves out that easy. Things get tough we all feel trapped without windows or doors. But to see our lives as a whole instead of a piece helps us to excape. The part that was left out was the light with no switch.
ReplyDeletehaha markchop's answer is brilliant
ReplyDeleteHi I am Mohd Salman Baig.Visit www.tips4blogging.co.cc for blogging tips and hacks.Latest blogging tips ever.
ReplyDelete1.Let's imagine that this room is the world....Do we need to get out of it....NO...!
ReplyDelete2.Do we know that I am alone? If there is a friend (or someone like that) would it be necessary to get out of there? Tell your secrets to each other first and then talk about your escaping....
3.Even if you are alone and there are no windows, no doors, no ...... whatever, why did you forget to take your cell phone with you to call for help.....Somebody would come and create a window or a door or ..... whatever!!!
As I mentioned, this is a trick question, but markchop got it right away.
ReplyDeleteLook in the mirror to see what you saw.
Use the saw to cut the table in halves.
Put the halves together to make a whole.
Use the 'hole' to climb on out.
I thought some of the other answers were great, though. Obvious thinking outside the box (or trap)!
You look in the mirror to see what you "saw", "saw" the table in half, two halves make a "hole", and climb out the hole and escape......I have seen it before which helps :-)
ReplyDeleteMY goodness that was tricky!! You go Markchop!! I would have never got that!!
ReplyDeleteThat was amazing. Simply amazing.
ReplyDeleteWhat if you're staring into the mirror? You look away, and you're "out" of that room?
ReplyDeleteOk, Now how do you go vertically by going horizontally without going diagnolly?
ReplyDeleteEasy, use the table to break the "double-sided" mirror...of course.
ReplyDeleteMarkchop is right (1st answer). My friend asked me that question once.
ReplyDeleteIt is said that the room does not have any doors or windows... does it have walls?
ReplyDeleteWHATS the ANSWER????
ReplyDeleteGo out the chimney.
ReplyDeleteThrow the table thru the mirror
ReplyDeleteit says there are no windows or doors so that mus mean it is wide open! ;)
ReplyDeleteMarkchop stole the answer from some other site,,,...as i said lie, cheat and steal!!
ReplyDeleteIt is impossible. Being trapped in a room without windows or doors :P
ReplyDeleteTo enter in a room, we need at least a window :P
nice brain teaser... ;p
ReplyDeleteI suppose that there are no roof too, so I'll up to the table and i can go out :p
ReplyDelete*i'll go up
ReplyDeleteLook into the mirror and see what you saw, use the saw to cut the table in half, put the two halves together to make a whole, and use that hole to escape.
ReplyDeleteIt's quite hilarious to see people kill themselves when they have no sense of imagination.
follow the white rabbit !!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteWell in all seriousness I would probably take the table and start attacking the walls with it...
ReplyDeleteLook in the mirror, see what you saw, take the saw, cut the table in half, two halves make a whole, climb out the hole, where's the one about the room full of bikes and no doors and a man dead in the middle, how did he die? there were also other things in there, but I forget what
ReplyDeleteCall the building contractor and have him put in the door he forgot!
ReplyDeletelook in the mirror and see what you saw.
ReplyDeleteuse the saw to cut the table in half.
two halves make a whole. you get out through the hole.
GOOD JOB MARKCHOP! SMART THINKING!
ReplyDelete♥R•H♥
My teacher once gave us this puzzle and nobody could find it out... lol!
ReplyDeleteTHE WAY YOU CAME IN
ReplyDeleteA friend and I thought of using the mirror to cut a hole in the wall or a door.
ReplyDeleteKiras ansver is Impressive :D
ReplyDeleteWhat's the answer?
ReplyDeleteStop imagining !!
ReplyDeleteHow Do You Get Into A Room Without A Door In The First Place?
ReplyDeleteTake the blue pill.
ReplyDeleteUse the table to smash the mirror which reveals a secret passage to Narnia, then you have to fight gandolf so you can pass.
ReplyDelete:D
in the question it says is twice you can reread it to check
ReplyDeleteshouldn't there be a comma between is and is in the question
ReplyDelete
