Without using a pencil or calculator, solve this puzzle:

11 * 11 = 121
111 * 111 = 12321
1111 * 1111 = 1234321
so the ans is 1234321
You guys are good! 1,234,321 is the answer.
ReplyDeleteEven easier... start at 1 and count down and back up one line at a time. Ignore everthing outside of the ( ).

(11) 3 11 = 121
(111) 3 111 = 12321
(1111) 3 1111 = 1234321
(1) \ 1 down to 11(2), up to 1
(11) / 1 2 1
etc
