I May Be Late

I'm looking at my watch. Each minute has a mark. The hour hand is on one mark, while the minute hand is on the next one. What time is it?

But just yesterday, I was looking at my watch and the hour hand was on one mark, while th minute hand was on the previous one. What time was it?

    The marks are on the minutes, not the hours. Sorry if that wasn't clear.
