"OR LOML FZRMPF SEGO, VF SEGO SVFLMPRI."
These are three famous sayings from Ben Franklin. Can you translate them all?
I'm posting one puzzle, riddle, math, or statistical problem a day. Try to answer each one and post your answers in the comments section. I'll post the answer the next day. Even if you have the same answer as someone else, feel free to put up your answer, too!

He that diplays too often his wife and his wallet is in danger of having both of them borrowed
ReplyDeleteI'll leave the other two to other readers...
"He that displays too often his wife and his wallet is in danger of having both of them borrowed."
ReplyDelete"We are all born ignorant, but one must work hard to remain stupid."
"He that speaks much, is much mistaken."
when i started to figure the first one out, i saw that it started 'he that'...i figured i was either wrong, or Franklin was jsut using bad grammar...(should be 'he who'...)
ReplyDelete200 years ago, it could have been good grammar, I suppose?
