Riddle me this?
Mates unbalanced, Or so they seem; But paired in tandem, A deadly team.
She so gently round, Him so firm and straight, Yet when they are compounded, Woe to them they hate.

Is it a bullet to a rifle?

ReplyDeleteI'm not sure about the bullet to rifle because I'm not sure how 'round' a bullet is, but like I said, I'm not sure.
I hope a baseball and bat aren't deadly! ;-) But I would have to say cannon and ball are a good combo for this riddle.
Maybe if I had said black powered musket and ball?? I like the cannon answer.

ReplyDeleteThe actual answer is a bow and arrow. Or, at least, that's the historical answer. But as with most riddles, multiple answers are possible.
